OK. I've been a vegan for a year and a half. I want to change the way people think about their food, but I know that it's hard for a lot of folks. I still believe that everyone should think about making whole food/ plant based a bigger part of their diet.

It's better for your health. It's better for the environment. And it lessens the horrific cruelty in the world by lessening demand for the animals in this video. I want to warn you; it's hard to watch! But this is what we support when we continue to make animals part of our diet. And the least we can do is to really look at where our food comes from.

Now, even if you look at this, some people just won't care. Some will feel awful, but think it's too difficult and drastic to change their diet after a lifetime of developing that habit. And some will want to do what they can, even if they can't yet commit to a vegan lifestyle.

To anyone who does care whether you can watch this or not, thank you. Do what you can. Even a small change is better than no change, and maybe that change will be the first step on your journey.

I'll also tell you this; being vegan can be inconvenient sometimes, but it's getting easier all the time. Their are so many resources to help you, and people to encourage you, that it's not as hard as you might think.

If you watch this, or even just imagine what you would see if you did, you would have to agree that this is not right.

We must realize on the one hand, that we can do little if we do not set ourselves a high ideal, and, on the other, that we will fail in accomplishing even this little if we do not work through practical methods and with a readiness to face life as it is, and not as we think it ought to be.
